She is the best friend a girl could ask for. We've been close since 5th grade. In some ways, we are nothing alike. She's much girlier than I and has a cleaner mind and mouth. Lucky for me, she never judges me for my mind or my mouth. But, though we aren't too much alike, we are the same person. We will say the same things and do the same things at exactly the same time without consulting each other first or thinking about doing the same thing. We call each other "Twin" and say we have "Twin Power."
Example:
We were at the wedding rehearsal. I was Maid of Honor. There was also a Matron of Honor. Matron asks, "What are we walking out to, do you know?"
I responded with, "I don't really know what it's called. It's that song that goes..." This is where I lifted my arms at the elbow started swaying and singing, "This will be..." Matron laughed and I added, "I think. Unless she changed it."
Matron looks back and my twin and said, "Sarah, what are we walking out to?"
She responded with, "I don't really know what it's called. It's that song that goes..." This is where she lifted my arms at the elbow started swaying and singing, "This will be..."
Matron and I both laughed and Sarah just looked at us. We explained why it was funny.

Return to thoughts:
Anyways... I was so excited to be in her wedding. I, for the most part, hate being in weddings. Hate it. But for Sarah, of course I was fine with it. I don't think I've ever seen a happier bride. She was laid back, relaxed and excited. This is what she looked like about 20 minutes before she walked down the aisle:
Really, she was just smiles and happy. No nerves at all. And totally gorgeous.
I'm so glad she's finally married. She's been waiting forever and I couldn't be happier. But the weird thing is - this was the least weird wedding ever. You know how you go to a wedding and you walk out thinking, "Holy cow! She's married!?" Well, I walked out of Sarah's thinking, "Yay!" It wasn't weird at all. It seems perfectly natural for her to be married. It's kinda surreal.
