2011...

...is here.  It's a little weird because it did come quickly.  I did, however, have quite an excellent end to my 2010 and start to my 2011.

On the 31st, I slept kind of late but then went to my old apartment to finish cleaning it out and turning in my keys.  Then I came back to my new home to finish getting some things organized and hiding some boxes.  The New Year's Party for David and my group of friends was at our house.  It was the first time I'd had a New Year's Kiss in about four years.  That was fairly nice.  David's the bomb.

Then on the 1st, we woke up fairly early to go to Hinkle Family Fun Center to play Lazer Tag and other such fun things.  We were there from around 10am to 3pm.  Then David and I went home for a nap and went to our friends' Walter and Nora's house for brinner.

All in all, I'd say the end of 2010 and start of 2011 were great!  David laughed at me when I told him it started off well because we were kids all day. Really, though, I'm pretty stoked about it.  The last day of 2010 was spent finalizing my move-in with David and hanging out with some of the awesomest people in the world.  The first day of 2011 was spent with some of the awesomest people celebrating David's 24th birthday.  It was pretty much just fantastic.

What I'm trying to say is just that there was a very clear close to my 2010 and a very clear start to my 2011 and it was all spent with the guy who means the world to me and we were surrounded by amazing people the whole time.  So 2011'll probably be pretty decent.  If this open and close is indicative of my immediate future.
